Calculate and understand your organisation’s carbon footprint.

Problem

The Welsh Government target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in Wales by 2020 is likely to be missed. If we are to meet the conditions of the Paris Agreement, of keeping global temperatures under two degrees, urgent action around carbon reduction is needed. All public bodies should be calculating their carbon emissions and reporting them to Welsh Government.

Simple Change

By using carbon calculators, you can work out your organisation’s carbon footprint and then take steps to reduce it, for example by purchasing green energy tariffs, moving to LED bulbs or using electric vehicles.
