There is often a feeling of disconnect between senior management within organisations and those on the frontline who experience the day-to-day running of services. It can create a significant barrier for those in senior management in terms of really understanding what improvements might be needed to improve service delivery.
Offering ‘walk-through’ initiatives to those in decision making roles can help senior staff to empathise with those using services and see where changes can be made, whilst also understanding the conditions frontline staff are experiencing.
