The National Survey for Wales found that 84% of households in Wales has access to the internet in 2016/17, although it is clear that Wales continues to have areas of digital exclusion due to lack of infrastructure, particularly in rural areas.

To ensure transparent, open and honest public services, that people can feel a part of, you should ensure that you use a variety of accessible, inclusive engagement methods and formats, including online and offline. This provides opportunities for the public to get involved in and shape their services and the decisions that affect them.
