Rebecca is the 2024-2025 Future Leaders Academy support. She also works for the Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA) assisting Academi Heddwch Cymru, Wales’ first peace research and education institute where she facilitates training across Wales and through global partnerships. Alongside this, she is a member of the steering group “Walking the Talk” for Restless Development, working to improve gender equity and inclusion of marginalised genders in foreign and national policy.

In her free time, Rebecca loves to cook for her community in Cardiff, especially recipes from her Iranian heritage. She also loves to travel and has lived in five different countries, most recently being Peru. She is passionate about intercultural dialogue and creating sustainable long-lasting change that will make our world a little kinder.
